They were released in the wee hours of Wednesday, this week, by their abductors.
The Federal Government had claimed that no ransom was paid for the release of the girls.
The meeting, which started at 12:10pm, is taking place at the State House Press Gallery.
Service chiefs and senior government officials are in attendance.
Senator Buhari Abba Ibrahim from Yobe State and his wife, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs as well as parents, guardians and school administrators are also present.
